At the End of Autumn Dec.4.2017

As I am starting to wriite this article, I am not sure whether I should use ‘fall’ instead of ‘autumn’. And I eventuallly decied to use ‘autumn’ as a formal word. However, as a word that is more likely to be used by Americans,’fall’ is more vivid because it will easily make peope associate fallen leaves with this season.

Without my awareness, suddenly autumn comes to the end. After five days of ‘labor week’ which brought us laughter as well as sweat, the only thing left is a sort of peaceful joy. Last week, when I was sweeping the campus, I noticed the fallen leaves of ginko trees and maple trees. The view of the ground covered with fallen leaves bring me with great impression. Scarcely have I cared about this kind of beauty.

Today, the topic of our geography class, the country of maple, made me think of maple leave again. Maplestory, is an online game produced by Korea. I can stilll remember clearly my childhood playing Maplestory for the first time. The only feeling I got is that I came to a new, unexplored world, meeting new friends and starting new exploration. But now, after nearly ten years, the purity of that game has all gone, for the game has become more and more commercialized and materialized. The only thing I can smell is the game currently is money. I’ll always remember my pure childhood.

These days, the weather is getting colder and makes me realize that autumn is fading away. I must cherish the remaining part of the year. I can still remember the pllan I made in the begining of this year. The most regretful thing is that only a few things listed in that plan have been completed. It remind me that the plan for the coming year should be realistic and eaiser to fulfill. At the end of the year, I am still a busy man. On Dec.9 I will visti the animation show and take pictures for the cosplayers. On Dec.10 I will take part in the TOEIC Bridge Test.

What a pity that autumn is coming nearly to the end. I haven’t enjoyed it welll. Nevertheless, I shall look forwards and look into the future instead of looking back to the past. In the coming new year, I will get graduated and enter the university and face the CET-4 test. Hope I willl get more success next year.

At the end of autumn, why should we hesitate? Come on, follow me and say goodbye to autumn and enter the new season!
